NWAMN members got together Sunday afternoon, February 28, for a hike to the War Eagle Loop Trail overlook sites at Hobbs State Park.  The War Eagle Loop Trail is being proposed for adoption and to be maintained by the NWAMN Chapter.  Trail maintenance procedures and opportunities were pointed out along the way.  Additional use of this trail by our Chapter to conduct various field studies of wild flowers, trees, birding, and trail interpretive ideas were also discussed.  Everyone enjoyed the trail overlook sites that provided wonderful views of the beautiful War Eagle Valley and War Eagle Creek.

Sharp eyed 6 year old Rachel Zey was even able to photograph an Armadillo rummaging in the woods during the walk.
