On July 29th the Northwest Arkansas Naturalists Stream Team began its  initial training at the Van Winkle Hollow site in Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area east of Rogers.  Dave Evans of the Arkansas Game and Fish Department was the instructor and 18 members of the Northwest Chapter participated in the initial testing of Little Clifty Creek.  Besides testing for water quality, rocks were kicked and bugs were picked and identiified.  The Chapter has taken on the task of periodically testing this creek and building a data base of the creek's condition.
