On Tuesday, Jan. 26 North Central Master Naturalists met to clear a new trail specifically for use with the many school groups that visit in the spring at the Bull Shoals State Park. Most of the clearing required loppers and hand snips and dragging. We had a backpack blower to do most of the leaf clearing. There were two large trees that had fallen over the trail, and were hung up in standing trees. These put lessons learned in the chainsaw class to good use.
