On Sunday, March 7th, four CAMN members (well, 3 members and a NIT) met at the Pinnacle greenhouse to "put together" birdhouses.
|

| Turns out we started from scratch to mark and cut out 40 kits, then assembled 10 for the Audubon people to install in the park. I'm the NIT and bad at names but the three members were Tim, Leo and Dwayne. It was a nice day to soak up the sun and do a little work.
Frank the NIT. (Author and picture taker) Gillam Park is Audubon's newest nature center with trails. CAMN has been working on the trail system there and just completed a new one to the glades. The Glades trail , along with the others, will be used for interpretation for school programs. This link will take you to their website where you can learn more about the nature center and the Audubon programs. CAMN's newest volunteer opportunity is the Habitat for Wildlife Committee. For more information, contact Tim Ferrell with the private message email. For more ways that CAMN makes a difference see the Volunteer page. For more pictures, check out our photo gallery. |
